Canna Farm, although beautifully peaceful and surrounded by rolling landscapes, is situated perfectly for road, rail, bus and foot transport links. Canna lies only a couple of miles walk along the Clay Trails from Bugle where there is a shop, a friendly pub, post office, chippie (world renowned!) and a Chinese amongst other services should you require. Three miles in the other direction is a friendly pub on route to beautiful walking in the Luxulyan Valley. Situated just off the A30 between St. Austell and Bodmin makes it easily accessible for further exploring Cornwall, but it isn't obligatory to leave this tranquil site! The Eden project is just a three mile walk down country lanes from the camp as well. The Newquay train line also stops at neighbouring villages Bugle and Luxulyan, which are within walking distance. If you are vehicularly mobile then it's only a twenty minute drive to the sea! Charlestown offers some history with its Heritage museum and tall ships in port. Carlyon Bay, Par sands and Polkerris Beach all have beautiful sandy beaches to walk or relax on and look out to sea, (and all with good watering hole establishments.) Go in the other direction and you can catch the surf at Newquay. There really are a vast array of places of interest within easy reach.
